About Dr Drew Provan

I’m a doctor, artist, and unapologetic explorer of the human body — its structure, chemistry, and contradictions. My background in medicine gives me the tools; art gives me the freedom. I combine anatomy, molecules, and taboo subjects to challenge how we see science, sex, and mortality — transforming the clinical into something emotional, raw, and beautiful.

Art of Science isn’t about decoration. It’s about curiosity — about making people stop, think, and feel something real. Each piece blurs the boundary between laboratory precision and human imperfection, celebrating the strange poetry that lives inside biology itself.

Artist’s Note

Science and art have always been my twin obsessions. Both demand curiosity, precision, and the nerve to push boundaries. Art of Science grew out of years spent studying the body — its beauty, fragility, and design — and turning that knowledge into colour, texture, and emotion.

For me, medicine and art share the same purpose: to explore what it means to be alive. These works aren’t just visual; they’re a dialogue between logic and instinct, anatomy and imagination.
